Advanced EMDR: Attachment Resource Development

Using EMDR with complex trauma clients requires patience and advanced training. Jumping into Phases 3-7 without adequate preparation can lead to negative treatment outcomes. Resourcing is an essential investment in Phase 2: Preparation. Yet, most consultees express feelings of inadequacy in applying EMDR Resource Development and Installation. This workshop will cover two tracks of resourcing: intentional/directive and responsive opportunities to install resource experience with a focus on Attachment and Play Therapy. Included is a play therapy and adult checklist to use in your preparation phase and treatment planning.
