About the event
Treating complex trauma across the lifespan presents challenges of dissociation, oppositional, and avoidant defenses. Whether you work with child or adult clients, when trauma has impacted development, utilizing play therapy interventions can improve outcomes of EMDR treatment. Sandtray therapy provides the safety and non-verbal language for clients to move through the 8 Phases of EMDR Standard Protocol.
This workshop will combine basic Sandtray Therapy Skills with Basic EMDR Standard Protocol.
Completing Sandtray 101 (or the equivalent) is recommended before this training. EMDR Basic Training is required before participating in this training.
