About the event
Play therapy training incorporating IFS as ego strength intervention for children and family. This hands-on workshop will build on basic Sandtray skills and introduce IFS parts work. When trauma has resulted in a fractured self, play therapy is a gentle yet power intervention to identify, understand, and integrate parts of self. This is an essential training for EMDR Therapists working with complex developmental trauma.
5 APT Approved CE hours provided.
Educational Goals
- Identify three basic concepts of parts work.
- Practice 3 interventions for identifying parts of self in play therapy.
- Practice a play therapy intervention using Sandtray to help clients build curiosity and compassion for the roles of parts.
- Demonstrate competency in using play therapy interventions that support cooperation and integration of parts of self.
Cost of training is $125 with refunds available upon request up to 48 hours prior to workshop. Prior cancelation is not required when requesting a refund due to COVID19 related concerns.
