About the event

Whether you are new to attachment therory or just looking for a review of the basics, this workshop will increase your confidence in practicing Attahcment-Focused Therapy. The practical foundations will focus on application and competency. The interventions that will be covered are backed by theory. Expect a simplified summary of the theory and practicall application with interactive experiences. 

  Experiencial learning in small groups will cover four basic foundations of working with attachment wounded clients. This workshop offers comprehensive preparation for all other ACTS Theraipst training topics. APT Approved Provider #22-668

Schedule

9:00-10:00 Intro and Overview

1000:-12:00 Attachment Cycle, Styles, and Applications in Therapy

12:00-1:00 Lunch

1:00-2:00 Window of Tollerance and State Change Practice

2:00-3:00 Boundaries 

3:00-4:00 Introduction to Parts of Slef: Ego State 

Participants will:

1. Identify four child and adult attachment styles.

2. Create a sample treatment plan for each of the insecure attachment styles. 

3. Practice art therapy exercise for state change practice. 

4. Use Sandtray or art therapy exercize for providing psychoeducation on boundaries.

5. Practice play therapy activities for introducing parts of self.
