Attachment-Focused Therapy : Essential Foundations (2)

Whether you are new to attachment theory or just looking for a review of the basics, this workshop will increase your confidence in practicing Attahcment-Focused Therapy. The practical foundations will focus on application and competency. The interventions that will be covered are backed by theory. Expect a simplified summary of the theory and practical application with interactive experiences.

1:00-2:00 Window of Tolerance and State Change Practice

2:00-3:00 Boundaries 

3:00-4:00 Introduction to Parts of Self: Ego State 

Participants will:

1. Identify four child and adult attachment styles.

2. Create a sample treatment plan for each of the insecure attachment styles. 

3. Practice art therapy exercise for state change practice. 

4. Use Sandtray Therapy or Art Therapy exercises to provide psychoeducation on boundaries.

5. Practice play therapy activities for introducing parts of self.
